The University of Basel provides its students and doctoral students  with a range of online self-services, also known as MOnA or My Online Account. MOnA comprises the following online self-services:

Semester Registration
Towards the end of any given semester, all matriculated students and doctoral students (not new applicants) will receive a notice to their unibas e-mail account to register for the next semester. Semester registration is done online by means of the web application MOnA

Course Registration
Course registration is undertaken online.
The registration period runs from the first day of semester (1 Feb and 1 Aug) through the end of the fifth week of semester.

Academic Work Overview
Students will be able to see an overview of all academic work such as passed or failed courses as well as grades and all other relevant details online.

Student Performance Summary
Downloadable student performance summaries are readily available online (PDF). Performance summaries provide details on the awarding of credit points in degree modules and degree subjects. Students can thus monitor their current performance status.

Change of Address
Students may change their current contact address and their parent/emergency contact address online. Online changes help reduce face-to-face contacts and queues at the Student Services centre.
