Why are credit points missing from my credit points account, although I have already received corresponding e-mail notification from my lecturer?

You will receive advance notification via e-mail as soon as lecturers have completed the assessment procedure. Credit points will be displayed in the MOnA credit points account only when assessments and examinations results have been processed by the responsible examinations office. In other words, you need to allow for a reasonable amount of time between receiving advance notification via e-mail and for credit points to appear in your account.

Why is my credit points account empty or incomplete?

One reason could be that the corresponding assessment procedure has not yet been completed. In such cases, credit points will appear in your MOnA credit points account immediately upon completion of the procedure.

MOnA only displays credit points awarded since the 2005/06 winter semester. Credit points from earlier semesters are not displayed in MOnA.

A third reason for the absence of credit points from your credit points account could be that a given lecture or course is administered by a faculty accrediting system, not by the central MOnA system. Credit points administered by a faculty’s own system do not appear in MOnA.

Since the 2009 autumn semester all faculties have been using the central system to administer their credit points.

Comprehensive administration of credit points awarded at the Faculty of Science only became effective from the 2007 autumn semester. Credit points awarded beforehand are administered by the faculty’s own system and are therefore not displayed in MOnA.
